As concerns grow about hospital bed capacity rising in proportion to patients in need, we’re here to help! At HealthBridge, we are committed to providing the best possible care for our COVID-19 patients. We have dedicated isolation units and thoroughly trained staff in infection control to contribute to improved patient outcomes. Staffing is consistent on this unit to control potential viral transmission.
Our medical team is outfitted in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including crucial airborne protective precautions, respirators, N95 surgical masks, isolation gowns, gloves, goggles or full-face shields. It’s all about controlling exposure. Strict isolation precautions are always maintained.
As the patient progresses in the recovery process, we incorporate functional activities, such as self-care tasks — balancing, transfer, deep breathing and endurance exercises as COVID-19 can be very debilitating.
At HealthBridge, we understand how challenging this is for your loved one. They may suffer from long periods of isolation, restricted mobility, decreased strength, weight loss and confusion. It’s our goal to provide them with not only the best possible medical care, but emotional support as well.
We know that it’s difficult to be separated from family during this healing process, so our healthcare professionals use all technology available to keep patients and their family members informed and face to face!
This type of complex care is what we do best at HealthBride. Our COVID patients are in excellent hands led by a superior medical team. We will do everything we can to ensure that your loved one crosses that bridge to home!
The Illinois Department of Public Health recently completed a COVID-19 Focused Survey to determine if HealthBridge of Arlington Heights was in compliance with Federal requirements.
