Roberta Consolver, RN, BSN, MHA, is Chief Nursing Officer for HealthBridge. In this role, she oversees all aspects of clinical operations, patient care and satisfaction, clinical staffing, and medical policy decisions.
During her 30+ year-career in the healthcare arena, Roberta brings targeted expertise in quality improvement, risk management and regulatory compliance. She has held clinical, administrative and leadership positions at multiple nationally renowned hospitals, including Nexus Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, where she served as Chief Clinical and Quality Officer; and as Chief Executive Officer at Nexus Children’s Hospital in Orange County, California, prior to its acquisition by HealthBridge. Nexus Children’s is a specialized pediatric hospital that provides acute care and rehabilitation services for medically complex children.
During her career, Roberta has held other various roles in critical care and emergency medicine, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, and Director. She has a proven reputation for advancing quality patient care through strategic planning and program development. Roberta has also received industry recognition for quality and safety, in addition to improving customer and patient perception of care.
Prior to HealthBridge, Roberta served as a Charge/Triage Nurse for the Emergency Department at the Park Plaza Hospital in Houston, where she provided oversight of emergency room operations for all patient populations, including triage assessments. The hospital’s pediatric population accounted for 30 percent of annual visits. She also served as the Director of Quality/Risk Management for St. Anthony’s Hospital in Houston, where she managed quality and regulatory compliance. In addition, Roberta has served as Chief Clinical Officer for Kindred Hospital, Sugar Land, Texas; Chief Clinical Surgical Officer for Acuity Healthcare, Houston, Texas; and Director, Bariatric Services & Employee Health, Pasadena, Texas.
Roberta has a master’s degree in HealthCare Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
