Jackie Burke is the Vice President of Rehabilitation Services for HealthBridge. She is a speech pathologist with more than 30 years of experience in clinical operations, management and program development and professional recruiting.

Jackie’s career has primarily been spent in contract rehabilitation, recruiting and human resources support. She specializes in geriatrics in the long-term care setting and is trained in reimbursement rules and regulations. Before joining HealthBridge, Jackie spent 15 years with Tara Therapy as the Director of Recruitment and Development supporting 35 facilities with talent acquisition and retention through director recruiting, developing university and student relationships and acting as the HR liaison for associates.

In addition, Jackie served as a licensed nursing home administrator of a 120-bed subacute facility specializing in ventilator and trach care, wound management and in-house hemodialysis. She was also Regional Vice President and Regional Director of Operations for TheraPeak, Inc., with responsibility in seven states for clinical operations, denial management, contract acquisition implementation and recruitment.

Jackie serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Family Hospice and its programs, including Heartlinks Grief Center and Linus Blankets in Belleville, Illinois. She volunteers on the education committee for the Illinois Healthcare Association and has been actively involved with Missouri Military Academy as one of the Parents’ Committee Leaders. Through the Belize Children’s Program, Jackie and her family host children for medical care.

Jackie received her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of South Dakota. She is certified in Aging Studies.
