Housekeeper/Maintenance Assistant is under the direction of the Plant Ops. Supervisor. This position will be responsible for ensuring that a clean and sanitary environment is maintained throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
Performs environmental and plant maintenance work for a skilled nursing facility. Maintains resident rooms in good repair. Assists supervisor with maintaining all HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in good repair and in compliance with all state and federal life and safety regulations. Assists with maintenance of current emergency action procedures and plans.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents.

- 1-year experience working at residential facility or hospital preferred.
