A MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY:
HealthBridge Arlington Heights, formerly Transitional Health Care of Arlington Heights, is open and continues to serve existing and new patients. We are following COVID-19 activity on a daily basis and take this situation seriously. It is our goal to regularly assess any new developments and we are committed to providing you with ongoing updates.
Our priority is to protect our employees, our patients and their families from exposure to this virus. HealthBridge Arlington Heights follows a very stringent admissions process as a general rule, and this has been expanded to question all individuals entering our facility (employees, visitors, vendors) about current/recent health conditions and travel activity. We are doing everything possible to keep our current patients safe.
In addition to our standard disease protocols, TCAH is working closely with Cook County Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control. For the most up-to-date information, please visit cookcountypublichealth.org and cdc.gov.
Further, since our employees and visitors have the potential to both carry and spread infection, we have a strict limited visitation policy. Until further notice, there will be no visitations, unless it’s an end-of-life situation. In that event, two family members will be allowed to visit. Also, one caregiver will be assigned to the isolated patient, but will then be unable to leave to decrease exposure. We will monitor this matter closely and make adjustments as necessary.
We recognize that it’s important to protect our health care providers with appropriate protective personal equipment (PPE) and will do everything possible to honor that commitment.
We pledge, along with the entire global healthcare community, to be a strong partner in helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and, where necessary, to deliver the life-saving care to COVID-19 patients in a tightly-controlled and protected clinical environment, by a highly-qualified team experienced with infection control.
